Ryan Buenafe was a time-travelling demon in this game. Hands down!
Terrence Romeo Tries to Shoot Despite the Defense of the Eagles
The FEU Tamaraws were amazing this time unlike Game 1. Mr. Garcia, you are awesome!
Heartfelt Embrace by the Eagles
Everyone doubted this year's Blue Eagles after losing Baclao, Al-Hussaini and Reyes from last year's team. For a team in 2nd place with a 10-4 record going into the Final Four but not having a win against the highly-favored Tamaraws, eyebrows were raised if they could push through facing FEU in the end. Well, not until the battle for championship came. They proved everyone was down right wrong.
It's One Big Fight for the Blue Eagles Fans
There is no doubt Ateneo has the best sixth-man/crowd when it comes to basketball games. I couldn't be any luckier and happier watching and cheering for the blue and white in this kind of Ateneo community.
Fight!
I worked undertime to watch the game on a Thursday afternoon. Wanna try asking me if it's worth it? Undertime for enjoying an Ateneo Three-peat Championship? I tell you. It's good! Go Ateneo!
Other Stuff:
- This is the first Ateneo three-peat in men's basketball since the 1930s, and with the juniors, the first double three-peat in UAAP and NCAA history.
- In Ateneo, we hold this annual bonfire in celebration of the championship.
- That has the word "yabang" written all over it huh? It's just a joke. :)
- Pagbigyan. Three-peats don't come too often after all. Capisce?
